Ordering & Minimum Order Quantities

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for uniforms?
Our MOQ varies by product category. For standard uniforms (school, corporate, hospitality), the MOQ is typically 500–1,000 pieces per style per color. For specialized workwear (flame-resistant, chemical-resistant), MOQs start at 300–500 pieces.
Can I order samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes. We offer pre-production samples for every order. Sample development typically takes 7–10 working days. Sample costs are usually adjusted against the bulk order value once confirmed.
What are your payment terms for bulk orders?
Standard terms are 30% advance (T/T) upon order confirmation and 70% balance against copy of Bill of Lading before shipment. L/C (Letter of Credit) at sight available for established clients.
How do I place an order with TMR Uniforms?
Submit requirements via our quote form, receive a quotation within 48 hours, approve samples, confirm order with advance payment, and production begins with regular updates. A dedicated account manager guides you.
What information do I need to provide for a quote?
Product type, quantity per style/color/size, fabric preference, customization details (logo, embroidery), desired delivery date, shipping destination, and preferred shipping terms (FOB/CIF).
Can I mix different uniform types in a single order?
Yes. TMR Uniforms specializes in multi-category orders. School uniforms, hospital clothing, industrial workwear, hotel uniforms, corporate clothing, and fabrics can be combined and shipped together.

Manufacturing & Quality Assurance

What quality certifications does TMR Uniforms hold?
Our supplier network holds ISO 9001, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and SEDEX/SMETA certifications. Products meet EN ISO 11612, EN ISO 20471, and EN 13795 standards. Documentation provided with every shipment.
What fabrics do you use for uniform manufacturing?
Polyester-cotton blends (65/35, 60/40, 50/50), 100% cotton, polyester, Nomex, Proban (flame-resistant), antimicrobial-treated fabrics, and specialty performance fabrics. Selection depends on uniform type and use.
How do you ensure consistent quality across large orders?
We use a 5-stage QA process: supplier audits, raw material inspection, in-production checks at 30% and 70%, final AQL 2.5 inspection, and pre-shipment audit. Every order includes an inspection report.
What is AQL inspection and what level do you use?
AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) is an international standard for sampling-based inspection. We use AQL 2.5, allowing no more than 2.5% defect rate. Stricter AQL 1.0 or 1.5 available for premium orders.
How long does manufacturing take?
Standard uniforms: 6–10 weeks. Customized with embroidery/printing: 8–12 weeks. Specialized safety workwear: 10–16 weeks. Timelines include sampling, production, QC, and packing.

Customization & Branding

Can you match specific Pantone colors?
Yes. We offer precise Pantone color matching for fabric dyeing and printing. Lab-dip samples provided for approval before bulk dyeing. Color consistency verified with spectrophotometer.
Do you offer embroidery and printing services?
Yes. Direct embroidery (up to 15 colors), screen printing (up to 8 colors), sublimation (full-color), heat transfer, woven labels, and custom buttons/zippers. Method depends on garment type.
Can you work from our existing designs or tech packs?
Absolutely. We accept tech packs (AI, PDF, CDR), sketches, reference images, or physical samples. Our team also develops patterns from scratch using CAD software.
Do you offer private labeling and custom packaging?
Yes. Custom woven labels, care labels, hang tags, size labels, and branded packaging (polybags, boxes, garment bags). All labeling complies with destination country requirements.

Shipping & Export Documentation

What shipping terms do you offer (FOB, CIF, DDP)?
FOB (Free on Board), CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight), and DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). Most clients choose FOB Nhava Sheva or CIF to their nearest port.
How long does shipping take from India?
Sea freight: UAE/Middle East 7–12 days, East Africa 10–15 days, West Africa 18–25 days, Europe/UK 18–25 days, USA 25–35 days. Air freight: 3–7 days to most destinations.
What export documents do you provide?
Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, GSP Form A, Inspection Certificate, and destination-specific documents (SASO for Saudi Arabia, COC for Africa).
Can you ship to multiple destinations from a single order?
Yes. We handle split shipments regularly. A single order can be shipped to Dubai, Riyadh, and Doha separately, each with its own export documents.
What is the typical container capacity for uniforms?
20ft container: 25,000–35,000 pieces. 40ft container: 50,000–70,000 pieces. LCL (Less than Container Load) available for smaller orders.

How is bulk uniform pricing calculated?
Pricing depends on fabric type/weight, garment complexity, customization, order quantity, and shipping terms. We provide detailed, itemized quotations within 48 hours.
Do you offer volume discounts?
Yes. Tiered pricing with savings at 2,000+, 5,000+, and 10,000+ pieces per style. Annual supply contracts and repeat orders get additional preferential pricing.
Are your prices competitive vs. China and Bangladesh?
India offers 10–30% lower pricing than China for equivalent quality. Compared to Bangladesh, similar pricing with advantages in customization, fabric variety, and multi-category sourcing.
Is there a cost for sampling?
Sample costs range from $30–$100 per sample, typically credited against bulk order value. Shipping costs charged separately. Specialized workwear samples may cost more.
